THE PROJECT
I collaborated closely with the business team to strategize the most effective approach for posing straightforward questions and developing accompanying illustrations to streamline a convoluted problem. My role involved generating initial sketches for the illustrations and crafting wireframes that demonstrated the proposed solution through a combination of sketches, user flow diagrams, and wireframe layouts.
To validate the viability of the solution, I created prototypes using InVision, allowing for thorough testing of the wizard questions' effectiveness and user comprehension. As the process evolved and underwent refinements, I maintained a close working relationship with the development team. Together, we translated the finalized approach into functional code, ensuring the seamless assembly of answers and the provision of tailored product suggestions based on the user's responses. This comprehensive workflow aimed to simplify a complex problem by integrating design thinking, prototyping, and collaborative development efforts.

DESIGN EXPLORATION & IDEATION
I engaged in an extensive ideation phase, utilizing sketches to visually articulate my concepts for a user-friendly wizard process that aimed to simplify complex information. To ensure alignment with the intended narrative, I sought feedback from stakeholders, incorporating their insights into the evolving design.
During this creative exploration, the final stylistic direction remained uncertain. However, in pursuit of a polished and easily understandable end product, I delved into the realm of 3D software. This innovative approach allowed me to experiment with translating the initial sketches into a three-dimensional, finished product. The use of 3D software not only presented new possibilities in terms of visual representation but also opened avenues for enhanced user engagement and comprehension. The iterative process of sketching, stakeholder collaboration, and experimenting with 3D tools epitomized a dynamic and forward-thinking design approach geared towards creating an intuitive and visually compelling wizard experience.

User interviews highlighted a general lack of knowledge among the public regarding their home HVAC systems. The accompanying screens feature illustrations designed to enhance user understanding. I ended up translating the sketches into illustrations using Sketchup 3D, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
