Motili Work - Mobile App
The Task:
Design and develop a mobile app that assists HVAC contractors in the field complete maintenance tasks and gather data. The app will display scheduled work, and guide techs to job locations, and then walk the them through a job in an intuitive, easy to follow, step by step process. The app will communicate back to the Motili SasS Platform both in real-time, as well as storing data in offline-mode when cell or wifi is not available. The app will build our intelligence of HVAC products in the field. Gathering data like age, condition, and general manufacturing information.

App Design
The Motili Work mobile app assists HVAC contractors in the field. Available in the App Store and Google Play. The app shows scheduled work, guides the tech to job locations, and then walks the tech through a job in an intuitive, easy to follow, step by step process. Dark and light modes are available, as well as quick access to devices light so contractor is comfortable in any work condition.
The app is sending data back to their company both in real-time, as well as storing data in offline-mode when cell or wifi is not available. Motili is also building our intelligence of HVAC products in the field. Gathering data like age, condition, and general manufacturing information. Goodman products are now rolling off the assembly line with sensors and QR codes ready to be tracked. This helps Motili gather intelligence and start creating smart data that allows us to predict when a unit might require maintenance or replacement, before expensive and inconvenient events may occur. This is the smart future of HVAC systems.

Select contractors were chosen for our beta rollout. They were trained on the new functionality, and then took the app to the field for use. We are actively gathering data and feedback and continue to make iterative improvements to these app functions.
