The Challenge: Create a Document Repository
Contracts in AppOrchid's platform are dynamic documents that can be updated, modified, and expanded. As the relationship between parties evolves, they may adjust the terms of their agreement or expand their business dealings. To manage these changes, customers will maintain "repositories" where contracts can be accessed, searched, and acted upon as needed in our platform. These updates may result in new documents that are related to the original contract but separate from it.
When customers integrate with ContractAI, they may have already have a repository in place, and the files uploaded to the Analyzer may include linked documents and amendments to the agreement. Other times, these documents will be separate files.
This feature allows customers to have more interactions with their repository through ContractAI, providing more versatility and functionality for managing awarded and historical agreements. It serves as a platform for understanding and modifying agreements, similar to how contract authoring and negotiation workflow offer a platform for creating and negotiating new deals with suppliers.
